Early departure from Port Blair – Guests are picked up from their hotel. Pre‑booked vehicles with experienced drivers ensure a timely start. Packed breakfast is provided.

Transfer to Jirkatang (approx. 90‑120 min drive). Arrival at the convoy check‑post before the scheduled gate opening at 06:00.
06:00 – 08:30
Convoy through Jarawa Reserve – Vehicles move in a police‑escorted convoy. Speed and stops are regulated; no photography permitted. Exit at Middle Strait after approximately 2‑2.5 hours.
08:30 – 09:00
Vehicle parked at Middle Strait – Guests disembark and board a local ferry (accompanied by the driver/guide) for the short crossing to Baratang Island.
09:00 – 10:30
Speedboat to Limestone Caves – A scenic 20‑minute ride through mangrove creeks leads to the cave trek start point. A short forest walk (approx. 1 km) brings guests to the stunning stalactite formations.
10:30 – 12:00
Cave exploration & return boat ride – Ample time inside the caves followed by the boat journey back to Baratang jetty.

Optional: Mud Volcano & Lunch – If guests return early (by 11:00‑12:00), a short drive to the mud volcano site is possible. Lunch can be arranged at a local eatery near the jetty.

Return convoy to Port Blair – Follow the escorted convoy back through the reserve. Estimated arrival in Port Blair by early evening.

The trek to caves involves uneven paths and some steps. Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for very young children or elderly with mobility issues.
